Many of our members have requested samples of liability release forms for various school activities such as field trips, participation in athletic events, etc. The MSGIA has developed a suite of the most commonly requested liability release forms used in our member schools and is making these available to our members. While they have gone through legal review, no legal liability release form will fully transfer risk of liability away from a district in its entirety. The MSGIA does recommend the use of the forms to clarify for the participants of these activities that they are accepting responsibility for their actions.
