If medical travel is requested by the MSGIA, you are entitled to reimbursement for expenses as defined on the travel reimbursement guideline. Generally, travel must be in relationship to the injury and the primary reason for travel. The travel requests must be made to WCRRP within 90 days of incurring expense. 100 mile per month exclusion unless travel is at the direction of the insurer. Travel within your “community” is excluded. Qualifying mileage is reimbursed at .55 per mile (effective 1/1/09 thru 12/31/09).
